Flogas Joins the Electric Picnic Journey
This exciting partnership is in year two of its electrifying journey. With Flogas and Electric Picnic exploring new and innovative ways to reduce the festival’s environmental impact. At the heart of this endeavour is a Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA) between Flogas and Knockawarriga Wind Farm in Co. Limerick. This connects Ireland’s music, arts, and energy-producing communities in a landmark collaboration that celebrates sustainability, support — and lots of good, clean-energy fun.
Clean Energy Hits the Main Arena
This collaboration will see Flogas power the Electric Picnic main arena with renewable electricity via the electricity grid, significantly reducing the event’s carbon footprint showcasing best practices for sustainable event management.
Electric Picnic Teams Up with Flogas
Flogas has joined forces with Knockawarriga Wind Farm to power Electric Picnic’s main arena with Irish wind energy, marking a major step in sustainable event management.
