At Flogas, we're upgrading our systems to serve you better.
Rest assured, your gas service will continue as normal as we introduce our system upgrades.
Please note, gas customers will receive a revised account number in writing after Thursday, 29 October 2026. In the meantime, there is nothing you need to do, and we will be in touch soon.

We’re upgrading our gas systems to help us better serve our customers. There’s nothing you need to do.
We will write to all natural gas customers with their new account information and direct debit reference. Gas services will continue as normal.

Your gas and electricity services will continue as normal.
Yes, customers’ gas account numbers will change as part of the upgrade, but GPRN’s remain the same. We’ll send all natural gas customers their new account number in writing after Thursday, 29 October 2026.
Yes, direct debit arrangements will continue, although some customers may experience a slight delay in collection date. You don’t need to do anything. Direct debit mandate references will change, and we’ll confirm the new reference in writing after Thursday, 29 October 2026.
We are still accepting renewals for existing customers during the upgrade. Electricity renewals will be processed immediately, and gas renewals will be processed after Thursday, 29 October 2026. Gas customers should renew before Thursday, 15 October 2026 to avoid being charged our standard variable rate during this period. Rest assured your renewal will be confirmed in writing once it is processed.
We are accepting new customers during the upgrade. Electricity orders will be processed straight away, and gas orders will be processed after Thursday, 29 October 2026. This means gas supplies will take longer to switch to Flogas than normal. You may be out of contract with your existing supplier and charged their standard variable tariff during this time. We will confirm your renewal in writing once it is processed.
Yes, online accounts will continue to work as normal, so customers can still log in and access usual online services.
You can access our customer portal https://portal.flogas.ie/ to pay a bill, submit a meter reading and check your account.
We are still accepting payments, however there could be a delay before they are applied to your account during system upgrade.
Yes, our customer contact centre will remain open, although our team will have limited access to our systems while the upgrade is taking place from Friday, 23 October 2026 to Thursday, 29 October 2026. You may find what you need on our customer portal https://portal.flogas.ie/
There’s no need to contact us unless you need support. Our team is there to help if you need us.
Yes, no problem, but for natural gas we may take a little longer than usual to send you a revised invoice.
Your electricity supply will switch as normal. However, we will only be able to process your gas switch from 29 October 2026. If you are out of contract with your current gas supplier, you may be charged the standard variable rate until the switch is completed. If you are within your cooling off period, you may cancel the switch without penalty, in line with our Product Terms and Conditions.
