Coming Together for a Cause: Supporting Our Communities

Teams across Flogas and Budget Energy in Northern Ireland came together this week in a fantastic show of community spirit, hosting bake sales and coffee mornings in support of Daffodil Day, Foyle Hospice, and Garry Kelly Cancer Support.

Across our offices, colleagues swapped their desks for kitchens, bringing in an incredible array of homemade treats, from cakes and biscuits to pastries and breads. The atmosphere was full of energy and generosity, with teams coming together not just to enjoy the food, but to support causes that touch so many lives.

These events are more than fundraising, they reflect the values that run through our business. At both Flogas and Budget Energy, we believe in supporting the communities we serve and creating opportunities for our people to make a meaningful difference. Whether it was baking, donating, organising, or simply showing up to support, every contribution helped make an impact.

It was inspiring to see such strong participation across teams, highlighting the sense of connection and shared purpose that defines our workplace culture. The funds raised will go towards supporting vital services for individuals and families affected by cancer, helping to provide care, comfort, and support when it’s needed most.
