If you have not used Gaslight cylinders before, you may require a regulator. Please check below to see which regulator will be required, depending on the type of metal cylinder you have previously been using. All our regulators can be found for purchase here.

Please note, the majority of new BBQ’s and appliances already have these regulators incorporated, so please check your current BBQ specifications.

Yellow Butane Metal to Butane Gaslight

Have you previously been using a Flogas yellow Butane metal cylinder or another competitor’s Butane cylinder?

If so, you will most likely be using a Butane Low Pressure Clip On (Jumbo) Regulator and no alterations or change of regulator is required when switching from a Butane metal cylinder to Butane Gaslight.

Yellow Butane Metal to Propane Gaslight

Have you previously been using a Flogas yellow Butane metal cylinder or another competitor’s Butane cylinder?

If so, you will need to check the compatibility of the appliance with Propane gas. You will require a 37mbar, 27mm Clip on Propane Regulator, which you can add to your cart here. You may also need a low pressure hose and clips which must be purchased separately.

Red Propane Metal Cylinders to Propane Gaslight

Have you previously been using a Flogas red Propane metal cylinder or another competitor’s red Propane cylinder? If so, you should already have a Low Pressure Propane Regulator, therefore you will require an adaptor which must be purchased separately.

Alternatively you can purchase a 37mbar, 27mm Clip on Propane Regulator, which you can add to your cart here. You may also need a low pressure hose and clips which must be purchased separately.

Patio Gas Cylinders to Propane Gaslight

No alterations or change of regulator is required when switching from patio gas cylinders to Propane Gaslight.

No, Gaslight cylinders can only be stored and used outside and must not be inside under any circumstances.
