Flogas launches new Approved Installer Programme across Ireland and Northern Ireland

New programme will support local heating installers with commercial incentives, lead opportunities and marketing support, while giving homeowners greater reassurance when moving from oil to liquid gas.

Dublin, 14 September 2026: Flogas has launched its new Flogas Approved Installer Programme, designed to strengthen its partnership with heating installers across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland and make it easier for homeowners to choose liquid gas (LPG) as an alternative to oil.

The programme was showcased at Plumbex Dublin on 9 and 10 September, where Flogas unveiled its new Approved Installer identity, installer support package and customer proposition. The programme attracted strong interest from installers at the event, with a number of follow-up conversations now planned.

The Flogas Approved Installer Programme brings together the strength of the Flogas brand with the experience and trusted local knowledge of heating installers working in communities across Ireland.

For homeowners considering replacing an oil heating system, the installer is often one of the most important sources of advice. The new programme is designed to give customers added reassurance that they are dealing with an installer who meets Flogas standards for technical competence, safety and customer care.

Approved Installers must already hold the appropriate professional registration, RGI in the Republic of Ireland or Gas Safe registration in Northern Ireland, and also complete Flogas onboarding, supported installations and technical sign-off before Approved status is confirmed.

For installers, the programme provides additional commercial and marketing support to help them grow their Home Heat business.

Approved Installers can benefit from:

• €250/£250 for each qualifying installer-generated customer conversion 
• an additional €1,000/£1,000 for every 10 qualifying installer-generated conversions 
• local customer lead opportunities from Flogas 
• practical marketing support, including Approved Installer branding, workwear, vehicle graphics and promotional materials 
• strong Home Heat customer offers to help support conversations with homeowners 
• ongoing support from the Flogas team

The programme also introduces the new Flogas Approved Installer badge, giving Approved Installers a recognised mark that can be used across agreed workwear, vehicles and marketing materials.

The badge is designed to help installers stand out locally while giving customers an additional point of reassurance throughout their move to Flogas Home Heat.

Making the switch from oil easier

The launch forms part of Flogas’s wider focus on helping rural homeowners understand the heating options available to them beyond the natural gas network.

Eligible new Flogas Home Heat customers can currently benefit from offers including a Free Boiler, alongside the option to freeze their price for two years, tank monitoring and automatic top-up services.

The Approved Installer Programme is intended to make those options easier for homeowners to understand by combining Flogas support with advice from an experienced local installer.

As part of its September Home Heat campaign, Flogas is also offering 250 litres of free gas to eligible new customers who sign up during September, supported by radio and digital advertising designed to generate new Home Heat enquiries.
