The €9,000 Enhanced SEAI Solar Grant

• Up to €8,400 for a Solar PV system (up to 4kWp).
• A flat €600 for an eligible battery storage system (5kWh or larger).
• Total Support: Up to €9,000 to lower the upfront costs of your installation to a minimum. 

Who qualifies for the €9,000 enhanced solar grant?

To be eligible for this route, you must own and occupy a home built and occupied before 2025, and currently be in receipt of one of the following Department of Social Protection payments:

• Fuel Allowance (via the National Fuel Scheme)
• Jobseeker's Allowance (for over 6 months, with a child under 7)
• Working Family Payment
• One-Parent Family Payment
• Domiciliary Care Allowance (DCA)
• Carer's Allowance (living with the person you care for)
• Disability Allowance (for over 6 months, with a child under 7)

Note: If your home belongs to a HAP (Housing Assistance Payment), RAS (Rental Accommodation Scheme), or RASP tenancy, you are also eligible to access this specialized €9,000 framework.
