Blustery conditions didn’t deter those teeing off at the inaugural Flogas Pro-Am Challenge on Tuesday 2nd June at Knightsbrook Golf Club in Trim. Flogas LPG and natural gas customers took part and the winning team, led by professional Eamon Brady from Clontarf Golf Club, was Jim Porter and Conor Kelly from North-West Gas in Donegal and Niall Woods from the Navy Blue sports management agency in Dublin.

 

Second place went to Simon Thornton of Royal County Down’s team of John Rooney, managing director, Flogas Ireland, Liam Murphy, County Louth Golf club, Baltray and Bill Connolly from Connolly’s Redmills, Kilkenny. 3rd place went to Mark O’Sullivan from Piltown Driving Range Drogheda leading the Flogas Facebook competition winner Thomas Maher from Delgany together with his friends John Darmody and Anthony Ward from Tipperary.

 

The winner of the men’s longest drive was Niall Lord, Food Surplus Management in Trim and the ladies prize went to Maria McNamara from Raheen Woods Hotel in Athenry.

 

The top sport for the golf pros was taken by Eamon Brady of Clontarf Golf Club, Dublin with second place going to Christopher Carvill, Belvoir Park Golf club, Belfast and third to Graeme Dunlea, Adare Manor Hoteland Golf Resort, Limerick.
