Medley of Prizes Won at 2018 Flogas Pro-Am

A very competitive yet convivial afternoon of golf was enjoyed by over 100 participants in the 2018 Flogas/PGA Pro-Am at Castleknock Golf Club on Monday 28th May, following which John Rooney, managing director of Flogas Ireland, happily distributed a medley of prizes to the various participants.

The winning team was David Higgins, PGA, of Waterville Golf Links with Niall Carroll, Mark Neville and PJ Butler on 92 points. The runner up team with 90 points were Colm Moriarty of the Glasson Hotel and Golf Club with teammates Garry Brown, Tom Coman and Brian Gahan. Third place with 89 points went to Enda Maguire of Louth Golf Club with Enda Heenan, Colm Larkin and Jim Harnett while Hazel Kavanagh of Impact Golf Club in Leopardstown helped drive her team of Sharon Rooney, Maria McNamara and Norrie Kearney into fourth place with 87 points.

The winning professional was David Ryan of Cahir Park Golf Club with a score of 68, 4 under par, ahead of Simon Thornton of Tulfarris Golf Club on 69, 3 under par.

Charlie Henderson won the Nearest the Pin prize while the Longest Drive went to Niall Carroll.
