Flogas sponsors new equipment for Inver Colpa

Inver Colpa Rowing Club in Drogheda is now the proud owner of a new dolly and trailer, thanks to sponsorship from Flogas, which has been supporting the Club since it was established in 2011. It now has 30 members aged 16 upwards and in between taking part in competitions, it holds training courses to introduce aspiring rowers of all ages to the sport. The club recently took part in the annual Boyne Boat Race over the May bank holiday weekend, where they came second in their category.
Glenda Murphy, club secretary said “We’re so pleased and delighted with the sponsorship from Flogas for the new dolly and trailer. The dolly is especially important to get the boats into the water quickly and easily with no heavy lifting or straining. Now that we have our own, we only need one or two people to do it, instead of a whole team!“
