Flogas Distributor takes on Challenge of a Lifetime for Three Local Charities

Local Flogas distributor, Brendan Duffy of T Duffy & Sons in Killough, is setting off on Sunday 28th August on the challenge of a lifetime to cycle from Killough in Co. Down to Rome, Italy.

Brendan, along with fellow cyclists Sam Harper, Gary Lennon and Marty McIlmail, will cycle 2,300 km over 15 days in aid of three local charities: Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke, Action Cancer and Cash for Kids NI.

Flogas were only too happy to provide Brendan and the team with the cycling kits required for the duration of the journey. Paul Ruegg, senior marketing executive for Flogas comments “We are so proud to be supporting Brendan, Gary, Sam & Marty on this incredible cycle from Home to Rome. We wish them every success and would encourage everyone to dig deep and support the associated charities.

Brendan Duffy comments “We only came up with this idea in the past year and although we are very excited, it is going to be a difficult challenge. We are really looking forward to the adventure starting off in Co. Down and travelling through Ireland, France and then into Italy. We really appreciate all the support we have received from our local community and businesses, especially our headline sponsor Flogas.”
