On Sunday 8 May 2016, Flogas managing director John Rooney was delighted to present the Flogas Irish Amateur Open trophy to winner Colm Campbell at the conclusion of the three day competition in the Royal Dublin Golf Club on Bull Island, Clontarf in Dublin.

With a closing round of 70, the 29 year old from Warrenpoint in Co. Down completed the biggest win of his career at the Championship, pipping Jack Hume from Naas by the narrowest of margins. Germany’s Max Boegel came in third.

John Rooney said, “Congratulations to Colm on his very hard fought win and it was great to have an Irish one-two! It was an immensely exciting competition for players and spectators alike. We wish Colm and Jack the best of luck in their future careers.”
