What happens after I sign up to Flogas?

When you complete and submit our customer agreement form and direct debit mandate we send your details to the MRSO for registration. Providing all the details are correct and your application is successful, we will process you’re application and your account will be active within 10 days. Once activated we will issue with confirmation in writing of your account activation and new account number with Flogas.

How often will I get billed by Flogas?

Flogas will bill you every month by post.

How is my meter read?

ESB Networks schedule to read your meter every 3 to 4 months, these meter reads are then sent to Flogas for billing. When ESB Networks access your meter the read they submit is an actual read and this will be shown on your bill as “A” after the read index. In the preriods between the reads received from ESB Networks Flogas will estimate your monthly consumption, this will be denoted by “E” after the read index on your bill. Should you wish to correct your estimated bill you can submit your reading here or by calling us on 041 981 5800.

I have a fault with my service, who do I call?

For any electrical interruptions or emergencies you should contact ESB Networks immediately at 1850 372 999 (24 hours).

What's an MPRN and how do I find it?

Your Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN) is the unique 11 digit number assigned to your electricity connection at your premise. It starts with the digits 10 and is always shown on the front of your bill.
