While traditional boilers can lose up to 25% of the heat they produce, Condensing gas boilers work on the principle of recovering as much of this waste heat as possible. Boiler efficiency is maximised by use of an extra large heat exchanger to increase heat transfer from the burner, and by condensing water vapour to recover as much latent heat as possible.
