Athlone Rehab People of the Year Awards
Flogas sponsors overall winner at 2010 Athlone Rehab People of the Year Awards
Flogas was the proud sponsor of the overall winner at the recent 2010 Athlone Rehab People of the Year Awards, which was won by the South Westmeath Hospice Committee.
The picture shows Donal Moran, the Flogas representative in Westmeath, presenting the trophy to committee chairman Dr Tony Lowry and other members at a gala event in the Radisson Blu hotel.
The winners are chosen from nominations submitted by the general public and the committee received a standing ovation from the 350-strong crowd as they took to the stage.
Dr Tony Lowry said: "It's been a great honour and privilege for us to be involved with the hospice since 1994. In the last three years we have had such great support from the local community."
Donal Moran said, “Our congratulations to the South Westmeath Hospice Committee, which are more than deserving of the top honour for all the work they have done over the years. Rehab is a very worthy organization that does excellent work in the local area and we were delighted at the opportunity to sponsor the overall winner category in these very high-profile awards.”
