Flogas officially rolls out Natural Gas throughout Ireland
|
Flogas has officially launched Flogas Natural Gas nationwide. The move by the company follows in the wake of the deregulation of the natural gas market and the opening up of the existing natural gas pipeline to private enterprise. Flogas is now offering a full natural gas service to residential customers throughout Ireland which is available through the existing Bord Gais Energy Supply natural gas pipeline. Said Richard Martin, managing director of Flogas Ireland, “Natural gas users now have a choice of suppliers and residential customers switching to Flogas Natural Gas will save money by benefiting from a cheaper gas rate and thereby reducing their natural gas bills. They will also receive a 60% reduction in their natural gas standing charge for the first year. There are no changeover costs and no disruption to their current natural gas supply and they continue to use their existing natural gas meter.” Flogas has already been supplying natural gas to over 11,000 residential homes in the Midlands and West of Ireland for several years, in towns which include Galway, Mullingar, Athlone, Tullamore and Ballinasloe. For details of how customers can switch from Bord Gais Energy Supply to Flogas Natural Gas, contact 1850-306-800 or visit the new website, www.flogasnaturalgas.ie, which also features a competition to win three trips to New York. ![]() from left: Jennie Dockrell from Flogas Natural Gas presents champagne, flowers and a shopping voucher for the Laurence Centre, Drogheda to the first Drogheda customer to switch from Bord Gais Energy Supply Energy Supply to Flogas Natural Gas, Adrienne Reilly of The Lawns, Highlands, pictured here with daughter Emily.
