![]() Shiver Me Timbers! - It's Pirates of the Grand Canal Basin as Flogas Rally Flows into Dublin On Friday 12 May, Flogas managing director Richard Martin joined models Glenda Gilson and Georgia Salppa for a photo call at which they took on the role of two legendary Irish pirate queens, Anne Bonney and Grace O’Malley. On Wed 16th May, Kevin Arundel of the Restaurants Association of Ireland came on board to judge a unique culinary competition which was part of the annual Dublin Flogas Rally organised by the Inland Waterways Association of Ireland. Participants had to produce a mouth-water meal for two using fresh ingredients with a budget of €20 in under 90 minutes. After heated competition, Alessandra Cesari from Robertstown in Kildare emerged as the winner, serving up an Italian-themed starter, two main course dishes and a dessert from her budget.
