Honey and Clove Gravy

Ingredients

¼ pint stock, i.e. brown stock/chicken/beef,

2 tbs white wine vinegar,

1 tbs brown sugar,

1 tbs honey,

1 tsp whole cloves,

1 tsp tomato puree,

dash soy sauce,

seasoning.

Method

Heat saucepan. Add vinegar, sugar, tomato puree, cloves and honey. Reduce to a syrup. Add stock and soy sauce. Reduce to a sauce consistency. Season to taste.
