About Rachel Quinn:
The Irish pianist Rachel Quinn has performed extensively
at home and abroad as a soloist and chamber musician.
In Dublin, she studied with Mabel Swainson and continued
in London with Craig Sheppard and Benjamin Kaplan. Subsequently
she was a Fullbright Scholar at the Peabody Conservatory
in the United States. She undertook intensive courses
of study with Nikita Magaloff, Gyorgy Sandor and Murray
Perahia.
She has performed numerous concertos
with orchestras including the National Symphony Orchestra
of Ireland, the R.T.E. Concert Orchestra, the Irish Chamber
Orchestra and the West Bohemian Orchestra.
She has appeared in many festivals including the Kilkenny
Arts' Week and the International Chopin Festival in the
Czech Republic. Rachel Quinn has given many radio broadcasts
and appeared on television in Ireland and abroad.
